Jake Mondy shot a three-under-par 69 to help lead Blacksburg to a River Ridge District mini-tournament win Tuesday afternoon at the par-72 Blacksburg Country Club.

The Bruins dominated play, as they were 16 strokes better than second place finisher Cave Spring, 296-312. Salem finished third with a 319, followed by Hidden Valley (321), Christiansburg (340) and Pulaski County (367).

The teams will return to the greens on Thursday, as Hidden Valley will host the next mini-tournament at the Hidden Valley Country Club. Tee time is 1 p.m.
