Salem used a balanced scoring attack, as the Spartans rolled to a 57-26 River Ridge District girls' basketball win over visiting Blacksburg Friday night.
The Spartans (14-5, 7-0 RRD) took an 18-7 lead after the first quarter and increased their advantage to 32-11 at the half. Salem continued to dominate in the second half to claim the 31-point home win.
Alayna Radford paced Blacksburg (2-16, 1-6 RRD) with five points.
Tay Taylor led Salem with a game-high 15 points. Carlye Garst chipped in with 12 points and
Kim Migliarese scored 11 points.
