However, Monday afternoon was different, as Brennan Escobar, Bryce Martin and Trevor Perdue reversed the trend and won in straight sets to lead the Terriers into doubles tied 3-3. All three doubles matches were well contested, but the Terriers fell just short in each match, as Cave Spring prevailed 6-3 in the non-district battle in south Roanoke.

Cave Spring opened up its 2010 girls soccer season with a thrilling 1-0 non-district win over Radford Wednesday night in Roanoke.
