Cave Spring Outlasts Wm. Byrd In Boys Tennis

Cave-Springs-LogoIt was another blustery Spring evening against Cave Spring , but the tennis was anything but cool.  As  a week ago, the Knights won all six singles matches. However, Monday afternoon was different, as Brennan Escobar, Bryce Martin and Trevor Perdue reversed the trend and won in straight sets to lead the Terriers into doubles tied 3-3. All three doubles matches were well contested, but the Terriers fell just short in each match, as Cave Spring prevailed 6-3 in the non-district battle in south Roanoke.
