Cave Spring opened up its 2010 girls soccer season with a thrilling 1-0 non-district win over Radford Wednesday night in Roanoke.
The Knights (1-0) would score in the 70th minute on a goal by Loreto Alarcon.
Laurel Markey recorded 15 saves in goal for Cave Spring.
