Christiansburg's Zach Epperly is the latest Blue Demon to make an oral commitment to continue his wrestling career at Virginia Tech in an announcement late Monday night.

Epperly, a senior, will be following the path of his older brother, Matt, who graduated in 2011 with two ACC championships and 85 wins under his belt.

Epperly, who is ranked No.21 in the Class of 2013 nationally according to InterMat, is a three-time Group AA state champion and will be looking for a four-peat this season. He has also won the Beast of the East, finished third at the Walsh Ironman and fifth in the Super 32 Challenge.

Epperly will be joining current teammate Joey Dance, who earlier announced his intentions to join the Virginia Tech wrestling program, which is under the leadership of former Christiansburg head coach Kevin Dressler.
