Christiansburg's Zach Weller and Aaron Linkenhoker have been selected to play for the West team in this summer's Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Football Game to played July 9 at Darling Stadium in Hampton.

Weller was a 2010 first team all-state linebacker, while Linkenhoker, who signed this past Friday to play football at Carson-Newman College, was a 2010 second team all-state defensive end for the Blue Demons, who lost in the regional finals this season to Amherst.

"I am very proud of both of these young men," said Christiansburg High School football coach Tim Cromer Friday morning. "They both had an outstanding season for us and they will represent Christiansburg well in the state all-star game."
