The Blue Demons rallied in the sixth inning, to turn a 5-2 deficit, into a 7-6 victory over the Bobcats in a non-district softball encounter Wednesday night in Radford.
Trailing 5-2, Christiansburg (2-1) pushed across five unearned runs in the sixth inning to claim the victory.
Brittany Broyles led the Blue Demons with a two hits and a pair of RBIs. Jamie Hoffer also added two hits.
Emilee Wallace picked up the win inside the circle, as she gave up six runs on seven hits and striking out two in going the distance.
Rebecca Williams led Radford (0-1) with three hits and Ashley Phipps finished with two hits and an RBI.
Nikki Tibbs was tagged with the loss for the Bobcats. She gave up no earned runs and struck out seven batters.
