With seven experienced players back, Christiansburg will be counting on its seniors for leadership, as the Blue Demons look to improve on last years fourth place finish in the River Ridge District.

Returning off of last year's 13-10 team are seniors Megan Parker (S/O), Sara Martin (L/DS), Ashton Moran (S), Katelyn Kast (OH) and Emily Quesinberry (MB), junior Tiffany Blassingame (MB) and sophomore Maggie Eddleton (O/OH).

Six juniors will be playing at the varsity level for the first time, they include Jiyun Chang (DS), Barrett Cunningham (O/M), Lexie Musselman (O/DS), DeiAra Lewis (OH), Kayley Lunsford (OH)and Taylor Radford (MB).

Head coach Brian Smith, who is entering his sixth season at Christiansburg, sees the team's strengths being experienced and offense, while service reception is currently a weakness.
