The Christiansburg defense held visiting Carroll County to a mere 65 yards of offense, as the Blue Demons crushed the Cavaliers, 40-0, in a non-district football game Friday night.

The Blue Demons (3-0) took a 12-0 lead in the opening quarter on a 1-yard plunge by Greg Lee and a 29-yard run by Brenden Motley.

A 12-yard scamper by Lee and a 33-yard pass from Motley to Stephen Will in the second quarter upped Christiansburg's lead to 26-0 at the half.

a 3-yard run by Kam Johnson in the third quarter and a 37-yard gallop by Zach Snell in the fourth quarter would make the final, 40-0.

Brenden Motley led Christiansburg with 188 yards passing on a 9-for-15 night.

Carroll County fell to 1-2.
