Christiansburg held Hidden Valley to just four points in the second quarter, as the Blue Demons turned a first quarter deficit into a 61-45 River Ridge District boys' basketball win Friday night in Christiansburg.

The Titans (8-9, 3-3 RRD) staked out to a 21-14 lead after the opening quarter. The Blue Demons (17-1, 7-0 RRD) went on a 16-4 run in the second quarter to take a 30-25 halftime lead. Christiansburg outscored Hidden Valley 31-20 in the second half to pull away with the 16-point win.

Dylan Hodson led Hidden Valley with 16 points, while Austin Bee scored 10 points.

Zach Davis led Christiansburg with a game-high 20 points and Brenden Motley added 15 points.
