It was Senior Night at Christiansburg, and the Blue Demons didn’t let the fans down, as they closed out their regular season with a 69-59 non-district boys' basketball win Wednesday night in Christiansburg.

The Bobcats (17-4) and the Blue Demons (20-2) would go back and forth from the start in this one. Radford led 10-8 after the opening quarter. However,Christiansburg would take a slim 30-29 lead at the break on a basket by Kam Johnson. The Blue Demons, led by the play of Brenden Motley, outscored Radford 22-12 in the third quarter to take a 52-41 advantage into the final quarter. Christiansburg continued to hold the upper hand in the fourth quarter, as they claimed the 10-point win.

Dashon Devore led Radford with 21 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Nate Jones scored 13 points, including two 3-pointers, and Isaiah Phillips added 12 points.

Zach Davis led Christiansburg with a game-high 25 points. Brenden Motley tossed in 18 points and Kam Johnson contributed 12 points.
