With only three starters back from last year's team that finished second in the River Ridge District, the Hidden Valley boys' soccer team has a major building project facing them this season.
Suiting it up this spring for third-year head Mark Meyer, will be senior Joseph Innacelli, junior Jacob Bartel, sophomore Landon Dermott, senior Robert Amick, senior Taylor Shumate, senior Adam Wolf, freshman Nick Helle, senior Octavio Tochimani, sophomore Grant Fonacier, junior Justin McBride, Senior Tim Radford, senior Wayne Veldsman, senior Zack McRoy, junior Tyler Blankenship, junior Justine Powell, junior Max Stuart, junior Adnon Sosic, sophomore Logan Richards, senior Joseph Coy, sophomore Matt Zbroinski, junior Kevin Silverblatt and freshman Mitchell Klockenbrink.
Radford, McRoy and Blankenship will serve as the team captains.
“It will have to be a team effort this year,” said Meyer, who saw his team go 12-7-1 last year.
The Titans see their top match as being with county-rival Cave Spring.
Hidden Valley opens its season on Monday, March 12, with a home match against Franklin County.
