Hidden-Valley-LogoHidden Valley scored three runs in the fourth and then held off a late Pulaski County rally, to claim a 3-1 River Ridge District softball win Friday in Roanoke.

The Titans (8-10, 5-3 RRD) crossed the plate three times in the bottom of the fourth inning. The big blowing being a double by Sidney Agee. The Cougars (10-7, 5-3 RRD) scored a run in the top of the sixth and hqad runners in scoring position with one out before Kelsy Crotty worked herself out of the jam to end the rally.

Crotty picked up the win for Hidden Valley. She gave up one run on five hits and striking out seven in going the distance.

Kate Smith was tagged with the loss for Pulaski County. She gave up three runs on six hits and striking out two in six innings.
