Hidden Valley needed just three sets to defeat Blacksburg 25-12, 25-13 and 25-18 in the semifinals of the River Ridge District volleyball tournament Tuesday night at Cave Spring High School.

The Titans now meets host Cave Spring in the championship game at 6:30 p.m.Thursday night. Salem will meet Blacksburg at 5 p.m. Thursday in the third-place game, also at Cave Spring.

Sarah Patterson led Hidden Valley with 22 assists and five kills. Caroline Boone tallied nine kills and two aces, Lauren Thomas had six kills, while Emma Sweet finished with nine digs and four kills.

Jossalyn Hillyard led Blacksburg with 12 assists. Lydia Pickrell tallied 11 digs and Jackie Greenberg added seven kills and three assists.
