Trailing by 15 at the half, Hidden Valley turned up the pressure in the second half to claim a 66-61 non-district girls' basketball win over Brookville Friday night in the final day of the Knights Holiday Class being played at Cave Spring High School.
The Bees (6-2), who led 41-26 at the half, saw the Titans (7-4) fighting their way back in the third quarter, as they outscored Brookville 16-10 to cut their deficit to 51-42 going into the crucial fourth quarter. Hidden Valley went on a 24-10 run over the final quarter to pull out the five-point win.
Holly Middaiyh led Brookville with 16 points.
Tyler Evans led Hidden Valley with a game-high 26 points, including four 3-pointers. Alena Hamerick contributed 17 points.
