Hidden Valley broke out to an early lead and never looked back, as the Titans claimed a 56-27 River Ridge District win over host Blacksburg Tuesday night in girls' basketball action.
The Titans (13-5, 5-1 RRD) jumped out to a 15- 4 first quarter lead and extended their advantage to 29-19 at the break. Hidden Valley outscored the Bruins (2-15, 1-5 RRD) in the second half to claim the 29-point road win.
Tyler Evans paced Hidden Valley with a game-high 22 points.
Mary Kate Dodge and Qwem Etuk led Blacksburg with six points apiece.
