Hidden Valley jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, as the Titans claimed a 69-56 River Ridge District boys' basketball win over visiting Blacksburg Tuesday night.

The Titans (8-8, 3-2 RRD) staked out to an 18-5 first quarter lead and increased their advantage to 34-19 at the break. The Bruins (6-12, 1-5 RRD) outscored Hidden Valley 37-35 in the second half. However, Blacksburg could not recover from the early deficit, as the Titans claimed the 13-point home win.

Michael Ayares led Blacksburg with 18 points.

Austin Beecher scored 19 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Dylan Hodson chipped in with 19 points and Malik Williams scored 14 points.
