On a beautiful sunny afternoon, Pulaski County defeated Patrick Henry 10-2 in non-district softball action Wednesday in Dublin. It was the season opener for both teams.

Kenzi Smith paced the Patriots with a 2-for-3 effort, a run scored and a stolen base.

Brooke Huneley led the Cougars (1-0) with a 3-for-3 effort, including three runs, three RBIs and a walk. Sara Wright was 3-for-4 with a run and four RBIs, while Jordan Chrisley went 2-for-3, scoring three runs, a walk and a triple.
