Pulaski County Rolls Past Radford

Pulaski-Cougars-LogoQuincy Rollins and Marcus McClanahan combined for five touchdowns, as Pulaski County cruised to a 41-9 victory over Radford in the "Battle of the Bridge" Friday night in Dublin.

The Cougars (1-0) took a 7-0 lead at the 8:41 mark of the first quarter on a 6-yard run by Rollins and Chrisley's PAT. The Bobcats (0-1) got on the scoreboard 1:55 mark on a 26-yard field goal by Caleb Findley to make it 7-3.

Rollins busted up the seams from 13-yards out just 44 seconds into the second quarter to make it 14-3, Pulaski County.

Radford would pull to within five at the 8:01 point of the third quarter when Hunter Marshall scampered 11-yards for the touchdown. A pair of Bobcat unsportsmanlike conduct calls resulted in Findley having to kick his PAT from 35-yard line, which was short to make it 14-9.

In the fourth quarter, the Cougars reeled off a 27-straight points behind a 4-yard run from Marcus Johnston, an 18 yard gallop by McClanahan, a 10-yard run by Rollins and a 3-yard run by McClanahan to make the final 41-9, Cougars.

Radford had 208 yards of total offense. RJ Jordan led the way with 67 yards.

Pulaski County tallied 296 yards of offense. Quincy Rollins led the way with 117 yards and three touchdowns.
