The Cougars advanced to the championship game of their own tournament, as they used a strong fourth quarter to defeat Graham 55-44 Tuesday night in the Cougar Clash played at Pulaski County High School.
Pulaski County (3-7) will play Fairfax at 7:30 p.m. tonight for the title.
Graham took a 13-3 lead after the initial eight minutes and increased its advantage to 25-21 at the half. The Cougars would outscore the G-Men 12-7 in the third quarter to take a slim 33-32 lead into the crucial fourth quarter. Pulaski County turned up on the offensive end, as they outscored Graham 22-12 in the final quarter to claim its third straight win by a 55-44 margin.
Daisy Ball led Pulaski County with a game-high 16 points. She also had six rebounds, four block shots and three steals. Kasey Holcomb added 12 points, five steals, four rebounds and three assists.
