Josh Henderson recorded a double-double in helping lead Cave Spring to a lopsided 65-34 River Ridge District boys basketball win against Pulaski County Tuesday night in Dublin. It was the district opener for both teams.
The Knights (8-1, 1-0 RRD) took a 20-4 lead after the initial eight minutes and increased their advantage to 34-15 at the half. Cave Spring would continue to have its way in the third quarter, as they headed into the fourth quarter with a comfortable 54-26 advantage. The Knights would continue to hold the upper-hand in the final quarter, as they claimed the win by a lopsided 65-34 margin.
Josh Henderson led Cave Spring with a game-high 23 points and 14 rebounds. Clay Lacy contributed 14 points.
Oliver Samples paced Pulaski County (3-5, 0-1 RRD) with10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
