The Cougars landed three players in double-digit scoring, as they cruised to an 80-32 River Ridge District girl's basketball win Friday night in Dublin.
Pulaski County (6-7, 2-0 RRD) ran out to a 21-7 lead after the first quarter and increased its advantage to 40-20 at the break. In the third quarter, the Cougars outscored the Blue Demons (2-9, 0-1 RRD) 15-10 to head into the fourth quarter with a 55-30 lead. Pulaski County would burn the nets for 25 points in the final quarter, as they would hold Christiansburg to a mere two points, as the Cougars ran away with the 80-32 victory.
Paige Wright led Christiansburg with a six points and Courtney Snell added five points.
Raiven Patterson led Pulaski County with a game-high 17 points. Sydney Anderson and Maddy Chitwood finished with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
