The Cougars held the Maroons to just three points in the first quarter, as they cruised to their seventh-straight win with a lopsided 63-23 non-district girls victory Wednesday night in Dublin.
Pulaski County (7-7), who lost its first seven games of the season, outscored George Wythe (1-9) 24-3 in the opening eight minutes and increased its advantage to 35-14 at the half. The Cougars would run away with this one in the second half, as they outscored the Maroons 28-9, to claim the lopsided 63-23 victory.
Kristen Atwell led George Wythe with 13 points.
Raiven Patterson paced Pulaski County with a game-high 20 points and Sydney Anderson contributed 10 points and pulled down 13 points.
