Sydney Anderson recorded a double-double, as she helped lead Pulaski County to an exciting 51-47 River Ridge District girls' basketball win over Christiansburg Tuesday night in Dublin.

The Blue Demons (8-3, 0-1 RRD) staked out to a 10-8 lead after the opening quarter. The Cougars (6-5, 1-0 RRD) scratched their way back into the second quarter to take a slim 20-18 halftime advantage. Christiansburg regained the lead in the third quarter, as they took a 36- 34 lead into the pivotal fourth quarter. Pulaski County outscored Christiansburg 17-11 to come from behind and claim the 51-47 win.

Anderson led Pulaski County with a game-high 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Shannon Stuart led Christiansburg with 12 points and Paige Wright added 11 points.
