Sydney Anderson recorded a double-double, as she helped lead Pulaski County to a 65-50 River Ridge District girls' basketball win over Blacksburg Tuesday night in Dublin.
The Cougars (10-7, 3-1 RRD) jumped out to a 38-15 halftime lead. The Bruins (2-13, 1-3 RRD) went on a 20-10 run in the third quarter to cut their deficit to 48-35 heading into the final quarter. Pulaski County held the upper-hand in the fourth quarter to earn the 65-50 win.
Uwem Etuk paced Blacksburg with a game-high 25 points and 11 rebounds.
Sydney Anderson led Pulaski County with 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Hannah Chaffin finished with 16 points and six assists.
