Pulaski County controlled this one from the start, as the Cougars ran away with a lopsided 61-43 River Ridge District girls' basketball win over winless Cave Spring Friday night in Dublin.

The Cougars (11-8, 5-2 RRD) staked out to a 41-28 halftime lead and continued to run away from the Knights (0-19, 0-6 RRD) in the second half to take the 18-point victory.

Zanebia Brown-Saunders paced Cave Spring with 13 points and Cassie Parulis scored 11 points.

Sydney Anderson led Pulaski County with a game-high16 points, while Deja Taxley garbbed 14 rebounds and scored seven points.
