Salem's Patrick O'Keefe and Hidden Valley's Kristen Harter came away the boy's and girls single's title, respectively, in the River Ridge District tennis tournament Wednesday afternoon in Roanoke. O'Keefe then teamed up with Will Drougas and Harter paired with Ceyda Durmaz to claim the doubles crown, as well.

Cave Spring's Josh Henderson was named Player of the Year, while Salem's Kevin Garst was selected Coach of the Year for the 2010 River Ridge All-District boys basketball team. Cave Spring had three players named to the first team, Salem placed two players, while Christiansburg and Blacksburg landed one each.
