The Cave Spring's girls and Hidden Valley boys' came away with the Region IV swim titles Tuesday night at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Hidden Valley girls and the Salem boys finished second.
The Cave Spring's girls, who recorded seven first-place finishes, tallied 150 points and second-place finisher Hidden Valley recorded 87 points.
The Knights also claimed three relay events.
Double winners on the girls side of the pool were Cave Spring's Maggie Harman (200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle) and Jackie Crawford (200-yard IM, 100-yard backstroke), along with Pulaski County's Natalee Rosebery (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle).
The Hidden Valley boys, who won four events, out-distanced second-place finisher Salem 139 1/2 points to 102 points.
Multiple winners in the boys’ events were Cave Spring's Jacob Siar (200-yard IM, 100-yard backstroke) and Blacksburg's Edwin Lu (100-yard butterfly, 100-yard breaststroke).
