Kelly Bowers tallied 12 digs and six kills in helping lead Salem to a 25-19, 25-20 and 25-12 River Ridge District volleyball win over visiting Blacksburg Tuesday evening.

Abigail Phillips led the Bruins (8-10, 0-2 RRD) with seven kills. Lindsey Cusiman tallied four kills and an ace, Catherine Boyle had two kills and seven digs, Rachel Shockley posted one kill, eight digs and an ace,  Callie Friedberg had six digs and Kara Woodward added two kills and three digs.

Carleigh Studtmann posted seven kills and three blocks, while Kim DeGidio finished with 27 digs for the Spartans (10-2, 1-1 RRD).
