Grayson County had five players to score in double-digits, as they cruised to an 89-66 non-district boys basketball win over Carroll County Wednesday night in Hillsville.
The Blue Devils (8-2) jumped out to a 25-14 lead after the opening eight minutes and increased their advantage to 46-34 at the half. Grayson County would continue to pull away in the third quarter, as they took a 65-47 lead into the final quarter. The Blue Devils would continue to dominate in the fourth quarter, as they claimed the 89-66 victory.
Tyler Rutherford led Grayson County with a game-high 24 points. Steven Eller contributed 16 points, Bubba Bowen chipped in with 15 points, Eric Harvey added 12 points and Mike Rogers added 10 points.
Adam Crotts led Carroll County with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Mac Martin tossed in 14 points and Tyler Reavis finished with 13 points.
