The Lady Cavaliers placed three players in double-digit scoring, as the claimed the Southwest District girls tournament title with a 53-43 win over Graham Saturday afternoon in Hillsville.

Carroll County (18-3) took an early 14-10 lead after the opening quarter and increased its advantage to 25-19 at the half. The Lady Cavs would continue to pull away in the third quarter, as they outscored Graham (14-10) 15-10, to take a 40-29 lead into the final quarter. Carroll County would continue to hold the upper-hand in the fourth quarter, as they claimed the 53-43 victory.

Lindsey Martin led Carroll County with a game-high 14 points. Rachel Dalton and Kayla Goins finished with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
