Carroll County held Pulaski County to just five points in the third quarter, as the Cavaliers rode away with a 73-55 non-district boy's basketball win Tuesday night in Hillsville.
The Cavaliers (3-0), who held a 42-33 halftime advantage, outscored the Cougars (1-1) 22-5 in the third quarter to run away with the 18-point win in front of the home crowd.
Tyler Frazier paced Pulaski County with 10 points.
Wes Smoot led Carroll County with 13 points. Connor Lundy tallied 12 points, Cody Keith added 11 points, while Ryan Gravley and Austin Horton recorded 10 points each.
