Carroll County remained unbeaten in Southwest District boys' basketball play, as the Cavaliers claimed a 59-54 win over host Richlands Saturday.
With the game knotted at 25-all at the half, the Cavaliers (15-2, 7-0) went on a 24-15 run in the third quarter to pull out to a 49-40 lead heading into the pivotal fourth quarter. Carroll County continued to hold onto the lead in the final quarter, as they came away with the five-point road win.
Ryan Gravely led Carroll County with a game-high 21 points. Cooner Lundy tossed in 15 points and Wes Smoot scored 12 points.
