Hannah Paredes surpassed the 2,000 career assists mark, as Auburn swept Giles 25-19, 25-18 and 25-16 on Dig Pink night Thursday evening in Riner.

Madison Shumaker added 15 kills and six aces, while Breanna Nichols contributed 11 digs and eight kills for the Eagles (20-3, 10-0 TRD).

Both Auburn and Giles (17-3, 7-3 TRD) received byes in the opening round of next week's district tournament. The two teams will play in the semifinals on Tuesday at Auburn.
