Jacob Underwood hurled a three-hitter and had two hits, in leading visiting Auburn, to a 10-1 non-district baseball win over Galax Thursday afternoon.

Underwood, who went the distance, only went three balls on a batter twice in the game, as he walked none and struck out eight batters. He also led the Eagles (2-0) at the plate with a 2-for-2 showing with a run scored and an RBI.

Shane Cummings led Galax with a 2-for-3 effort, including a run scored.
