Kimberly Smith buried a shot at the buzzer, to give Auburn an exciting 41-40 non-district girls' basketball win over George Wythe Monday night in Riner.
The Maroons (8-10) took a slim 6-4 lead after the opening quarter. The Eagles (6-9) came right back with a 14-8 scoring spurt to take an 18-14 halftime lead.
