The Auburn swim team finished tenth at the Virginia A Swim Invitational held last Saturday at Virginia High School in Bristol.

The Eagles compiled a total of 32 points. Thirteen teams competed in the girls' division.

Leading Auburn was Julia Goforth, who finished first in both the girls 200-yard IM with a time of 2:25.14 and the girls 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:44.23.

Chelsea Sanders (24th, girls 100-yard freestyle, 1:26.10; 27th, girls 50-yard breaststroke, 36.49) and Kimberly Breeden (39th, girls 50-yard breaststroke, 39.44).
