With only two golfers returning, Eastern Montgomery High School will once again be rebuilding its program, as the season gets underway in the Three Rivers District.
Back for the Mustangs are juniors Nikki Cerva and Erika Rakes.
Cerva missed going to the girls state tournament last season by one shot. She won the girls gold medal at this year's Commonwealth Games and continues to show progress shooting in the mid to high 80s. Meanwhile, Rakes is showing progress on her distance and consistency.
New to the program this fall are sophomores Caleb Yaw and Jessica Vishneski, along with freshmen Nicole Scott and Franklin Vishneski.
"We are very young and inexperienced," said coach Tom Cerva.
