Eastern Montgomery picked up its first win of the season, as the Mustangs defeated Parry McCluer 45-43 in non-district girl's basketball action Saturday evening in Elliston.

Leading 32-26 after three quarters, the Mustangs (1-1) held off a fourth quarter charge by the Fighting Blues (0-3) to earn their first win of the season.

Whitney Lewis led Parry McCluer with 19 points, including five 3-pointers.

Afton Graham led East Mont with 18 points and Sarah Simpkins tallied 12 points.
