New head coach Rick Hall got his first win at East Mont Tuesday night, as the Mustangs pulled away in the second half for a 67-56 non-district boys basketball win over Craig County in New Castle.

The Rockets (0-2), who led 29-26 at the half, saw the Mustangs (1-3) rally back in the second half to claim their first win of the season by an 11-point margin.

J.T. Shrader paced East Mont with a game-high 20 points, including five 3-pointers. Kendall Sisson contributed 17 points and James Fields tossed in 14 points.

Derrick Persinger led Craig County with 18 points and Andy McCarty added 13 points.
