Floyd County took control of this one from the very start, as the Buffaloes claimed a 68-59 Three Rivers District boys' basketball win over Giles Wednesday night in Pearisburg.

The Buffaloes staked out to a 39-24 halftime lead and continued to dominate in the second half in claiming the victory on the road.

Caleb Tanner led Floyd County with 17 points. Brandon Lemons tossed in 16 points, while Danny Velasquez recorded 12 rebounds and eight points.

John Shelor led Giles with a game-high 22 points and Cody Vaught added 12 points.
