Floyd County placed three-players in double-figures, as the Buffaloes claim an easy 79-39 Three Rivers District girls' basketball win over host Radford Tuesday night.
The Buffaloes (16-1, 5-0 TRD) staked out to an 18-9 first quarter lead and increased their advantage to a comfortable 37-15 halftime advantage. Floyd County continued to apply the pressure in the second half, outscoring the Bobcats (4-11, 2-2) 42-22, in claiming the 40-point win.
Christene Phillips led Floyd County with a game-high 13 points. Krista Cox and Amanda Hollandsworth tossed in 12 points each.
Jada Penn paced Radford with 10 points.
