Radford saw its season come to an end Wednesday night, as Floyd County cruised to a 61-25 win in the first round of the Region C, Div. 2 girls' basketball tournament in Floyd.

Floyd County (24-1) now meets Glenvar at 6 p.m. Friday night in the semifinals at Radford High School.

The Buffs roamed out to a 15-3 lead after the opening quarter and increased their advantage to 31-9 at the break. Things didn't get any better for the Bobcats (8-17) in the second half, as Floyd County cruised to the 61-25 win.

Hannah-Kait Facemire led Radford with nine points.

Amanda Hollandsworth led Floyd County with a game-high 14 points.
