Giles jumped out to an early lead and then had to off a late Graham rally to claim a 48-46 non-district girls' basketball win Monday night in Pearisburg.

The Spartans (3-8) jumped out to a 27-18 halftime lead. Graham (6-6) answered with a 15-5 run in the third quarter to pull to within two, 35-33. Both teams scored 13 points each in the final quarter, with the two-point differential being the third quarter score, as Giles snuck away with the home win.

Tori Repass led Graham with 16 points.

Lyndsey Jackson led Giles with a game-high 19 points, while Margee Ragsdale grabbed 11 rebounds.
