Glenvar took control of this one in the first inning, as the Highlanders cruised to a 10-2 Three Rivers District baseball win over Glenvar Thursday afternoon in Elliston.

The Highlanders (12-6, 6-2 TRD) broke loose for five runs in the top of the first inning en route to the win over the Mustangs (0-17, 0-9 TRD).

Karlyn East led Glenvar with four hits, including a two-run double. Derek Alba added three hits and an RBI and Tyler DeHart had three hits.

Kendall Sisson led East Mont with three walks and scored both runs, including stealing home.
