Glenvar broke the game open in the second inning, as the Highlanders marched to a 14-1 Three Rivers District baseball win over Auburn Tuesday afternoon in Riner. The game was called after five innings due to the 10-run rule.
The Highlanders (13-6, 7-2 TRD) crossed the plate 11 times in the second inning after sending 16 batters to the plate.
Karlyn East led Glenvar with a 2-for-3 showing and three RBIs. Austin Fox was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Tyler Crockett contributed two hits.
Gabe Spencer and Erik Gaynor led the Eagles with two hits each. Brian Gresty drove in Auburn’s only run with a single in the first inning.
