Jessi Strom scored her 1,000th career-point, as she helped lead Glenvar to a lopsided 55-33 non-district girls' basketball win Saturday night in Moneta.

The Highlanders (13-2) staked out to a 36-13 halftime lead and continued to have their way in the second half, as they took the 22-point win on the road.

Jessie Strom, who scored 1,000 point in the fourth quarter on a 3-pointer, led Glenvar with a game-high 19 points. Kayla DeHart finished with 10 points.

Brie Holdren led Staunton River (5-5) with 17 points.
