Glenvar held Radford to 10 first-half points, as the Highlanders cruised to a 62-35 Three Rivers District girls' basketball win Friday night in Salem.
The Highlanders (14-3, 4-1 TRD) took a 20-5 lead after the opening quarter and increased their advantage to 37-10 at the half. Both teams scored 25 points apiece in the second half. However, the Bobcats (4-10, 2-1) were unable to overcome the early deficit, in falling 62-35.
Hannah-Kait Facemire led the Bobcats with eight points.
DeHart paced Glenvar with a game-high 16 points. Jessi Strom scored 13 points and Kelsey Meador added 11 points.
