Glenvar scorched the nets in the second half, as the Highlanders handed visiting Floyd County an 83-74 Three Rivers District boys'basketball loss Friday night.

The Buffaloes (16-3, 6-2 TRD), who led 36-27 at the half, saw the Highlanders (16-6, 7-2 TRD) outscore Floyd 56-38 in the second half to rally back and claim the nine-point win.

Caleb Tanner led Floyd County with a game-high 36 points, including seven 3-pointers. Danny Velasquez tossed in 17 points.

Tyler Crockett led Glenvar with 24 points to lead Glenvar. Jeremy Williams scored 22 points Karlin East chipped in with 19 points and Shaq Bonds added 10 points.
