Radford used a strong second half, as the Bobcats pulled away in the second half to claim a 51-43 Three Rivers District girls' basketball win over Auburn Tuesday night in Riner.
The Bobcats (6-11, 4-2 TRD) jumped out to a 12-8 lead after the initial quarter. The Eagles (6-10, 0-6 TRD) went on a 13-7 spurt in the second quarter to take a narrow 21-19 halftime lead. Led by the shooting touch of Jada Penn, Radford methodically outscored Auburn 32-22 to come back for the eight-point road win.
Jada Penn, who scored all of her points in the second half, paced Radford with 17 points. Riley Harvey contributed 16 points to the winning cause.
Brooke Bostwick led Auburn with a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds.
